This was one of the great debut cds of the decade. This band just had it all – the sound, the look, the songs and the production. From Madalaine’s acoustic guitar intro and first trademark Winger scream through the long passionate Reb solos that faded out of Headed for a Heartbreak, this album simply didn’t miss a beat. It wasn’t until years later that I got the cd with the bonus track. Despite their glam look, they proved themselves to be an undeniably talented band that couldn’t be dismissed on their appearance. Even though their success was built on Seventeen and the ballads, my favorites were always Hungry and Time to Surrender, but this cd, in it’s entirety, still holds up today. --Scott
