Masterplan

After singing on cds for a few other bands, touring as Yngwie’s singer and making two solo cds of his own, Jorn has finally found the perfect sound for his voice. The disgruntled drummer and guitarist of Helloween broke off after a disagreement on the direction of the music on Helloween’s cd, The Dark Ride. In my opinion that was probably Helloween’s best album in ten years, so when two of it’s dominant writers formed this new band with Jorn as their singer, I knew it was bound for greatness, but even I was floored by their debut cd. Phenomenal song writing, great production and just one of the best out right metal albums since Judas Priest’s Screaming for Vengeance -- Really, just a monster of an album. --Scott
