This is probably the quintessential hard rock album of the late '70's and, in my arrogance, I believe everyone should own it. Meat Loaf (ne Marvin Lee Aday) and Jim Steinman are absolutely a brilliant team, creating epic-length, hard and heavy rockers as well as elegant piano ballads. The real highlight is the now-legendary "Paradise By The Dashboard Light," the nine-minute saga of a teenage boy trying to get laid by the hottest girl in school. This album is a real classic. --Anonymous
