When I heard the guy behind it was the bass player from Kansas, I just sort of wrote it off. I mean, I like Dust in the Wind as much as the next guy, but we deal with rock and metal here and... Kansas? Now I'm not saying this is going to be blowing out your speakers or anything, but it is a very tight Damn Yankees style hard rock album. The production is really clean and the guitar sound is great. The heaviest song is definitely the first one, so don't expect him to keep up that pace for the whole album, but the next several still stayed in the same genre. The first half was a surprisingly good rock effort while the second half is more for the fans of pop rock. --Scott
