I was a little worried that they would slide a bit after their stellar 2004 release, My Religion, but this is one hell of an album. I think this one has a lighter sound than it's predecessor -- the guitars are a little smoother, not as crunchy, but it works for these songs. Speaking of the songs, the standouts for me were Too Late and the smoldering last track, Ready to Fly. Those two are instant TNT classics. And I for one, like the cover of Louie Armstrong's classic, What A Wonderful World. They took a lot of flack for that one, but it works for me. They have stayed true to what TNT has always done. Refusing to go back and duplicate the sound of their 80s releases, they have forged ahead, blending more modern sounds and influences with Ronnie's trademark style and Tony's distinctive voice. And I think they've finally found the proper balance. It might not be the TNT you remember, but it's definitely TNT. And it's definitely good. --Scott
** This was TNT's last album with Tony Harnell. He and the band parted ways in 2006.
