Battering Ram, indeed. From the beginning to the end, this cd attacks your ears with an unrelenting sonic attack of very Priest-like riffs and rhythms. And while the music sounds familiar, the voice is a unique change from most bands of this genre. Instead of the high screechy vocals, Piet Sielck works in a lower register that compliments the music in a different way, but one that is very effective. The use of rich harmonized back up vocals adds another layer to this power metal powerhouse and despite the Judas Priest comparisons that will surely follow them wherever they go (which is not a BAD thing) Iron Savior has definitely carved out their own niche and created their own instantly recognizable sound. --Scott
