Doesn’t any name that has Demon in it come with a certain expectation of heaviness? Well this band isn’t very heavy… but they are good. They’re closer to a Journey, Brian Adams, Giant or Honeymoon Suite… But their music is more modern somehow. Almost like that band that does the Friends theme song… There’s a real pop sensibility with a lot of harmonized vocals and catchy melodies, but the unique sound comes from their singer Michael Voss. I think they are doing the AOR thing better than most of the other bands that are trying it. So even though it wasn’t at all what I expected, I ended up really enjoying it. If you like the lighter side of rock, then I really urge you to pick this one up. --Scott
