Fetish

Joan Jett and The Blackhearts are one of the best metal bands in it's history. Pity they never received more attention, outside of a few hits in the '80's. This is an album with only two new songs, the down and dirty "Fetish" (both versions) and the dark ballad "Baby Blue," written with Kathleen Hanna (a member of the band Bikini Kill, I think). The rest of these are older songs from previous albums, none of which were ever hits. A real highlight is "Star Star," their version of an old Stones' song. It's a riot hearing Joan sing the words "You're giving head to Steve McQueen," and "Your tricks with fruit are kinda cute, I'll bet you keep your pussy clean." -Anonymous
