All the Right Reasons

I had this cd in my car for a 13-hour road trip, so I got to know it pretty well … and I think this is their best work yet. The biggest mystery to me is the opening track. It’s the worst song on the cd and just starts you out on the wrong foot. The album is much better as a whole if you just start on track 2 (which is one of the best songs on the cd). Chad continues to prove himself as a great songwriter, making some of the most memorable modern melodies you’ll hear. This cd has it all, the great heavy rockers like Animals, a really great ballad in Far Away, and the mid tempo radio hit, Photograph. The production and the performance are just so tight, that I was continually impressed with the attention to detail from beginning to end on this disc. For my money, Nickelback is the best of the new radio rock acts around. --Scott
