I got hold of a promotional copy of this tape about a month before the album was released. Their heaviest songs and their best ballads, I thought it was going to be huge. I had no idea it would be among the first casualties of the grunge onslaught. I had been a fan of everything Winger had done. I never had any real complaints, but it wasn’t until I heard this cd that I realized the true potential this band had. Losing all of the soft keyboards and polished sound Winger was revealed in all of their raw glory. THIS was their sound. Heavy, crunchy guitars to compliment Kip’s trademark screams. This should have been the beginning instead of the end --
