Kiss

Carnival Of Souls

This is not the Kiss you know and love. But if you can shed your expectations, this is better than what most bands were doing at the time. Sabbath like, the songs are mostly totally heavy, plodding and deliberate. The two ballads suck, but if you can handle the style change, it's quite a record.
