Fear No Evil
At a time when most metal bands had already gone underground, Slauhter signed with a smaller label and released their best album. Songs like Hard Times and Outta My Head, are much harder than the party rock the band was known for and the album opener Like There’s No Tomorrow, is probably the band’s best song. The most interesting track though was the single, Searchin’ where he dropped his voice a full octave below his piercing trademark falsetto giving the song a dramatically different sound. The songwriting on this cd is better, the songs have a heavier edge and we see a broader range in Slaughter the singer and Slaughter the band. --
