Most readers know I am a big Ritchie Blackmore fan, but the other month was the first time I'd ever caught Blackmore's Night live - and wow, was I impressed. Ritchie looked the happiest I've ever seen him, laughing and joking on stage, and Candice Night, as well as having the voice of an angel and the timing and rapier wit of a comic genius. And you know what? The show really rocked with Ritchie on his strat about half the evening. So to any Purple and Rainbow fans who may have been put off by the negative press, I urge you to take in a show next time Blackmore's Night tour - you won't be disappointed.

Firefest 4 seeme to be really popular with the fans. With three months yet to go, we've sold more tickets direct than any other Firefest or Gods festival. More than 75% are gone as of now, and with the recently announced split of Harem Scarem happening next year, this will be your final chance to see this classic band live, anywhere in the world! So get your tickets soon to avoid disappointment.
